  • Food processor or blender

  • 1 cup dates 150 grams
  • ¼ cup cocoa powder
  • cup peanut butter
  • ¼ cup cashews 25 grams

  • Place dates in a large bowl and pour boiling hot water over them. Cover with a lid/plate and let soak. The longer the better, but 20 minutes should do.
  • Drain the dates and add them your food processor.
  • Then add cocoa powder and peanut butter.
  • Blend or pulse until your ingredients form a sticky mixture. Do not blend until completely smooth.
  • Transfer to a sheet of baking paper and use your hands to form small balls.
  • Once you’ve formed all your balls, chop up your cashew nuts as small as possible.
  • Roll your bliss balls in chopped cashews nuts.

Prep time is 5 minutes (plus 20 min soaking time).
Dates - When adding hot water to your dates, make sure there is enough to cover them all.
Tip 1Don't blend all the ingredients until completely smooth. Simply just pulse (turn the food processor on and off repeatedly) until you get a rough dough.
Tip 2 - While you can technically use a high-speed blender for these, I recommend using a food processor.
Tip 3 - Making them for a big occasion? Roll them in dried rose petals for that WOW factor!
Too sticky? Simply add some more cocoa powder to help dry out your mixture.
Too dry? Add more dates.
To store - place in an airtight container and store at room temperature for up to 3 days.
