5-Minute Green Pizza Sauce with Basil & Spinach
The best 5-minute green pizza sauce studded with aromatic basil and refreshing lemon. It's delicious, so easy & made in a blender.

- 3 tablespoon olive oil
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoon water
- ⅔ cups fresh spinach
- 3 cups fresh basil
- 2 cloves garlic
Add all your ingredients to a blender or food processor.
Blend until smooth.
Spread on pizza & bake, or enjoy as is.

- Want it spicy? Add green chilies (or chili flakes).
- Don’t have a blender? Use a food processor or hand blender.
- Want it runnier? Add more oil.
- Find it too runny? Add more spinach or basil.
- Once everything is blended, add more spices or herbs to taste.
- Make it oil-free by swapping oil for water.
- Customise it with your own greens like parsley & kale
- Want premade pizza sauce? Make it in large batches and have it ready whenever you want.
- To store - Place in an airtight container in the fridge. Keep for about 3-4 days.
- To freeze - Place it in an airtight container & freeze for up to 2 months.
