Ingredients

Tequila Smash

  • 8 fresh mint leaves
  • 10 raspberries fresh or frozen
  • 1 tablespoon agave syrup
  • 1 lime juice only
  • ½ lemon juice only
  • 2 ounces tequila
  • crushed ice

Garnish (optional)

  • raspberries
  • mint leaves
  • sliced lime

Instructions

  • In a cocktail shaker, muddle fresh mint leaves and raspberries.
    8 fresh mint leaves, 10 raspberries
  • Add the remaining ingredients and ice cubes. Secure the lid and shake vigorously.
    1 tablespoon agave syrup, 1 lime, ½ lemon, 2 ounces tequila
  • Strain the mixture into a chilled or ice-filled glass.
  •  Garnish with fresh mint, lime slices, and raspberries.

Notes

Tip 1 - Adjust the sweetness - You might prefer a sweeter version or want to omit sugar altogether.
Tip 2 - Velvety Smooth - Double strain the cocktail before serving. You want to ensure no fruit pulp, seeds, or small ice shards remain.
