    Very little scientific evidence supports the claim that detox drinks remove toxins from your body (Source: Medical News Today). However, that doesn't mean it's not incredibly nutrient-dense and rich in everything from fiber to minerals & vitamins, making it a great addition to a healthy diet.

    If desired, serve with ice cubes.

    Smoothie too thick or thin? Simply adjust by adding more liquids (for a thinner version) or adding more banana or mango to thicken.

    INGREDIENTS 

    • 1.5 cup (355 ml) coconut water
    • 1 cup (165 g) frozen mango
    • ½ ripe banana fresh or frozen
    • ⅓ cup (55 g) frozen pineapple
    • 1 cup (30 g) fresh baby spinach tightly packed
    • 1 large thumb ginger peeled

    INSTRUCTIONS

    • Add. Add all the ingredients to a blender, starting with coconut water.
      ½ ripe banana, 1 cup frozen mango, ⅓ cup frozen pineapple, 1.5 cup coconut water, 1 cup fresh baby spinach, 1 large thumb ginger
    • Blend. Blend on high speed for 2 to 3 minutes until completely smooth and creamy.
    • Serve. Serve immediately (with ice cubes if desired).
